After the election...

now we can do nothing but wait...

sunny

But after all the hoopla, thank God it's over.

Noynoy_and_Mar.jpg

Right now, everyone is waiting for the official proclamation from the Commision of Elections (COMELEC). I am definite that Senator Noynoy Aquino won the Presidential Race hands down. He currently leads by more than five million votes!

It is a bit baffling that Binay is leading the Vice Presidential race. It can be recalled that from the time intentions to run were anounced, Roxas always leads the VP surveys by more than ten points.

We are praying that Aquino's running mate, Senator Mar Roxas will overtake dark horse Makati Mayor Jejommar Binay once the votes from the remaining 18% of the country and the absentee voters get transmitted. It is a close fight. Current margin of votes among the two is five hundred thousand. To date, there is roughly six million votes that have yet to be counted.

Congratulations to President in waiting Noynoy Aquino, and I am positive I will be saying the same greeting to you Vice President Roxas.

Becoming a Noynoy-Mar volunteer is one of the most positive things that I have done in my life. I am thankful that Aquino won. Now, I am assured that the Philippines will be in good hands and that my child, and all of the children of fellow Filipinos, will have a better chance in this world.

IMGP1044.jpg

In fairness, malawak yung lugar.

IMGP1047.jpg

Madaming tao na nagpipicnic. May nga kubo kasi doon. May nagddate sa gilid ng lake...

4IMGP1032.jpg

IMGP1025.jpgIMGP1027.jpgIMGP1031.jpg

Malapit na ako mag walk-out. Promise.

Of all the bad things that can happen to an employee, not getting the correct compensation tops the list.

Lahat nakasimangot. Walang pakialam sa sales. May poot.

Yung 20 hours worth of night differential from training pa yun ha... hindi pa rin binibigay.

Good morning.

I would like to request for a recomputation of my pay for this day, May 5, 2010. Based on my payslip attached below, I was not paid for the three (3) legal holidays and four (4) hours worth of overtime that I rendered work for. They are for the following dates:

April 1, 2010 - Maundy Thursday
April 2, 2010 - Good Friday
April 9, 2010 - Araw ng Kagitingan

Overtime: April 9, 2010; 4pm - 8pm

While it is understandable that occasional glitches do occur, it is very difficult and frustrating that three days worth of holiday work has been overlooked. I hope that you understand how upsetting this is for workers, especially for a parent, such as myself. The compensation in question is alloted for my son's enrollment. Due to the unforeseen circumstance of the pay not being remitted correctly, I would have to put off my appointment with his school's registrar.

I am hoping that a resolution to this query would be reached in the earliest possible time and that a special payout be scheduled for the compensation in question.

I am no t meant to be in this profession... I think I have to accept that I will be going back to writing news articles and rejoinders. Haaaayyy

Halo - halo

Mga pangyayari sa nakaraang buwan...

all seasons in one day

It has been awhile since I last had an entry.

NOYNOY - MAR!!!

IMGP0792.jpg

Kahit waiting shed, maka NOYNOY!...
IMGP0804.jpg

IMGP0789.jpg

Eto kami ni Chocoboy sa terrace..
IMGP0917.jpg

Pang deliver ng mineral water ng kapitbahay namin...haha
IMGP0782.jpg

At eto ang pinakamalupit sa lahat...

Si TSA at ang aking byenan... Look-alike sila noh??
