now we can do nothing but wait...
But after all the hoopla, thank God it's over.
Right now, everyone is waiting for the official proclamation from the Commision of Elections (COMELEC). I am definite that Senator Noynoy Aquino won the Presidential Race hands down. He currently leads by more than five million votes!
It is a bit baffling that Binay is leading the Vice Presidential race. It can be recalled that from the time intentions to run were anounced, Roxas always leads the VP surveys by more than ten points.
We are praying that Aquino's running mate, Senator Mar Roxas will overtake dark horse Makati Mayor Jejommar Binay once the votes from the remaining 18% of the country and the absentee voters get transmitted. It is a close fight. Current margin of votes among the two is five hundred thousand. To date, there is roughly six million votes that have yet to be counted.
Congratulations to President in waiting Noynoy Aquino, and I am positive I will be saying the same greeting to you Vice President Roxas.
Becoming a Noynoy-Mar volunteer is one of the most positive things that I have done in my life. I am thankful that Aquino won. Now, I am assured that the Philippines will be in good hands and that my child, and all of the children of fellow Filipinos, will have a better chance in this world.
